Who are we?
Alliancecraft is a server owned and made by adults for adults. Our ages range from 18-50+ and we come from all across the world to play Minecraft together. We're just adults who want to log on and play Minecraft, chill after dealing with real life stuff.
We love to put in hard work and effort into our survival gameplay. We also crack inappropriate jokes a lot of the time. We like to have fun and definitely are not family friendly. You've been warned lol.
About our current world & server:
Version: 1.11.2
We launched in mid-July 2016, and our current world was started on August 23rd, 2016. We have no plans to reset, we back up regularly and keep on top of things to keep the server running smoothly as possible.
Here at Alliancecraft, we have no mob caps, animal limits, world border, base limits, no clearlag, plug-in to kick you for being AFK (unless we need a server restart), no having to watch your mouth because kids are around, etc. We wanted to be different and not limit things, because limits suck and having to be PG sucks.
Although we have this no limits rule, if you go over the top with redstone or animals/mobs that causes the gameplay to be changed or lagged, we will come out there and remove the problem and you will not be refunded. Continued abuse/lagging of the server may result in removal from the whitelist. Please do not ruin the no limits rule for everyone. Respecting the server and your fellow players is not too much to ask.
Difficulty: Hard // Our server is on hard-mode, and we have a twist. Our hostile mob spawner settings are increased above the normal amount to provide a challenge to the server. So you will die on our server. But you should not have any issues hunting pigmen or wither skeletons or trouble with mob spawners.
Although we have free chests (located in the middle of world spawn and in the farmlands south of spawn, in the barn attic), custom villagers (one in the barn attic, one in the town hall), and farmlands for food, these are completely optional. But there if you want/need.
Our motto is the server is for everyone. We do take ideas/suggestions into consideration. We'll hear you out and please give us time to consider and make a decision. We don't bite. But If you are demanding and rude, your time on our server will cease.
Spawn & Building Rules:
1. Do not build around spawn without permission (unless it's a housing plot or shop plot in the player district.) This includes spamming tree saplings all around!
2. Player district - 1 housing plot and 1 shop plot/marketstand per player. If you want an additional plot, ask staff.
3. The theme of spawn is medieval/ancient times, outside spawn you can build whatever style you want.
4. Keep spawn builds simple. No skyscrapers/massive towers.
5. Plot sizes are the way they are to add variety to spawn town. It may seem disorganized/a mess but it's there to make it seem a bit realistic.
6. Light up your builds & mines both at spawn and at your bases please.
7. Please build 1,000 blocks from spawn and 500 blocks from players that may be in the area. Need help checking, call a staff member to help you.
Suggestion - go minimum of 4,000 blocks out for fresh land.
8. No overworld roads to spawn. Make a netherroad or use waypoints on a minimap to get to point a to point b.
9. Don't change builds (except your own) without permission. This will be seen as griefing.
Rules:
We have zero tolerance for rule breaking here. You break 'em, we deal with you.
1. Don't be a jerk. Seriously. Don't be a jerk. Which means:
- Don't steal or grief (Instant ban, without warning.) You can inspect your stuff by doing /co i to enabled core inspect then /co i again to disable. If you have been stolen from or griefed, report it to a staff member immediately.
- PVP with consent only, don't do otherwise.
- Don't harass or be rude or argumentative to your fellow players and staff. No matter the reason. Keep it to yourself or take it to whispers. But do not cause a scene in chat and wreck everyone's gaming experience. Talk to a staff member if you have a problem with another player, please provide proof as well in screencapture or video form to our email (listed below) or discord, if you need a discord invite, please ask a staff member.
- If a farm isn't marked as public, please do not use it without asking. Same with chests & houses & basically anything that's not yours. Ask first, we don't bite here.
- Do not go into player houses or chests without asking. Especially if they are locked with lockette.
- Be accepting and understanding. Racism, sexism or anything nasty like that will not be tolerated.
- Pranking is allowed, but it must not involve kidnapping (figure of speech) a member or killing a member. Pranking must be done by consent only. Be good about it.
- Basically if it seems like a jerk kind of thing to do, don't do it.
2. No discussion of hard drugs, politics or religion in chat.
3. No mods, hacks, flying (unless its with elytra), no xraying.
- Optifine, Inventory tweaks, minimaps, shaders, Walia, JEI/NEI, Gamma/Lighting Mods are allowed. That's it. If it's not on the list, then don't use it, disable it/remove it before you enter.
- Exploits like the elytra launchers and going onto the nether roof is fine.
- No duplication.
4. Keep the landscape clean.
- Do not leave random nerdpoles in the middle of the ocean.
- Terraform please.
- Remove a mountain? Take it down entirely/make it neat.
- Don't leave nerdpoles up without good reason, remove when done.
- No floating trees (Common sense! It's just one-two extra blocks, don't be lazy)
- No pixel art of body parts in the sky or any offensive material. (As funny as this may be for body parts, please don't do it.)
5. You must be 18 years of age or older.
FAQ:
- Can I invite my friend/boyfriend/girlfriend/brother/sister/etc? Yes of course. The more the merrier.
- Yes you can build a base with friends/fellow players.
- Alts are allowed, yes. Dunno why you need alts, but sure if you want to bring your alt on, go for it lol.
- Yes you can suggest idea/build for spawn or elsewhere. For example - if you have a neat idea for spawn and we like it, we will happily let you go about it or give you a chance anyway to make us like it.
- There is no plug-ins to make a robot sleep on our server. This has become an urban legend on our server.
- Can I AFK? Yes of course. We won't kick you, only time it happens is if we had to restart the server.
- My English isn't that good/first language, will that be a problem? Nope, not at all. We're not uptight about things like that here.
- Can I report a player if I think they are breaking the rules? Yes, please provide video proof or screencaps (to our email or discord) so we can investigate further and take action.
- Can I fight the dragon again? Yes, once your done, you can see a staff member about receiving a dragon egg and 12,000 XP.
- What do you mean active community? We average 3-15 players on at a time.
- Yes you are welcome to record on our server. We encourage it actually.
- We've upgraded to 1.11.2!
- Do the owners have previous experience in admining? Yes.
