What's up guys I'm the owner (Archon) of AL. I'm a web development major and game design minor in college and this server is a side project of mine. I'm really interested in making a Factions server but with a huge RP aspect.
Many factions servers end up looking really rough after the first few months. The terrain ends up getting destroyed, and new players are constantly bullied. There's a way around this and that is to reward players who help others, and reward players who help maintain the server. This can be done with plugins.
Now, I'm not against player killing or having a bit of fun. There won't be any negative effects to being a griefer but you will get the title "PKER" next to your name. Being a griefer to me is going out of your way to camp someone, or destroy the environment around you for no real purpose. You can do it, but just know everyone will know what kind of player you are. :p
Right now I'm looking for a lot of testers as the server is really new. If someone's ask to be a mod/builder they won't get it. The only way someone gets mod is if I trust them, they've been on the server a long time, they're helpful to others, and they don't grief people 24/7.
