AvatarMC is a project that originates from reddit.com/r/TheLastAirbender, where the idea for an Avatar Minecraft server was conceived shortly after LOK ended its run. It is an attempt to re-create the Avatar world and all its features in Minecraft, and to keep the Avatar community alive by doing so.
Though we have made tremendous progress since that moment, there are still certain (very fundamental) plugins that need to be developed before we can leave beta. We are now looking for skilled Java developers to help us make those plugins we need to create the perfect Avatar experience in Minecraft.
We are also looking for skilled builders to help complete the enormous Avatar World. Our goal is to recreate all the buildings from the Fire Nation Palace to the Eastern Air Temple. Anything to bring the Avatar World to life in Minecraft.
- To create a new bending plugin that will allow us to add and maintain the most unique and fundamental feature of our server: a dynamic, highly interactive bending system.

- To create a plugin that will allow nations to control certain landmarks around the Avatar world (e.g. Aang’s Statue), boosting their bending power upon capture.

- To create a plugin that serves to replace potions with tea by revising the brewing system.

- And of course many other plugins that will add to the Avatar experience, including a quest system, mini-games (e.g. Pai Sho), server-wide events (e.g. Sozin’s Comet), and so forth.

- Building wise, to complete all the Avatar structures in the server with high detail and also, later on, complete several quest areas for players.
