Yes there are five billion minecraft servers out there. Here's yet another! I started this server a couple of years ago and topped out around 30 players at peak time before the host crashed the server. Anyway I got it back up and running now with a new host. Problem before was I was using Bukkit and simply had over-saturated it with awesome plugins and features. Now the server is 100% VANILLA.
The Awesome Time server still has a lot of cool features such as an economy, free bonus items and gold, little shops, PVP areas, mazes, dungeons, warps, and more however instead of using plugins to create all of these awesome features I have chosen to use only command blocks.
The spawn city is small allowing players to reach wilderness quickly from many directions in order to build a base and join in on the PVP action with having to go all away across the map to find someone to PK.
We have safe houses close to spawn city that are protected from destruction.
All of the dungeons and mazes are designed so that they cannot be destroyed and your friends can help you find your way through them.
Our player-base is still small since the server was just put back up this week. This means there is plenty of fresh land to build bases on, and all the best safe houses are still up-for-grabs! We will be looking for moderators to join our staff as well.
We have some more new features planned also such as new parkour courses and a RPG leveling/experience/spellbook system so stay tuned!

Hey all, we recently changed the techno city map to a smaller arena based PVP map that is fully automated so you can just hop in and start fighting right away. enjoy!
Re-allocated the server's memory so hopefully it lags less.
