POST UPDATE!

Love the idea as I was playing on a server called MCVillager but it has gone down and does not look like it will be coming back. I have built a couple of rather large castle and would love to help out. Not looking for an admin spot just want to help build and play with those that like to do the same. IGN is taazer209 Please allow me to jump in and help out. I can send pics of what I have built if needed.

This server sounds epic if I do say so myself, I miss the old minecraft all the servers now are just kill everybody and every thing, what ever happened to the minecraft when you actually could build something with friends with out being stabbed in the face?

I think I'd be good at plugins....while I'm here may as well type out my ideas.

Have WorldEdit only to be able to use WorldGuard. That way we can set the spawn region, keep it grief free, stop mobs from spawning, disable pvp, etc.

I think there should be a /home.... Essentials has that auto bundled in it. Just have to mess with the config. I know you can choose how many homes normal players can set, donaters can set, admins, etc. So you could have 10 homes, or just 1. Whatever number. (or none )

AntiCheat is a good non-cheating plugin, but I need to do some research for a plugin that keeps track of who breaks what block, or just get GriefPrevention working. (people set regions within a certain amount of blocks, and that area is theirs)

Something like Lockette...I'm finding out what the plugin that uses the "magical spells" to look chests and things is now.

GroupManager *once you get it working* just makes setting perms easy, Also finding out how to make it so after "x" amount of hours playing the player gets trusted,. Makes it so that trolls/griefers can't just get on and do stuff. People have to take time, and most trolls won't.

That's about it from what I'm thinking about right now.

I see no difference from every other faction server out there, other than they "buy a plot and live in the town".

I love the idea! Maybe for the spawn, only use blocks from back in the day? I think that would be very reminiscent of the good ole days.

Love it, and I'd love to help build and/or moderate, even if I only get a title at the start while I help you, I could also possibly donate $10 if need be. Also, I have run my own server before, so I know some good plugins for a close to classic server. (like having a /home if you're ok with that, or warps) Also...command blocks could replace warp applications now, but people would have to travel to the hub land. Hmm...well love the idea.

Skills: Highest admin rank on a game project (non MC), admin on classic server long ago, run my own server before, building experience, VERY basic HTML and CSS knowledge
Age: 15
Criminal Record: No griefing/hacking/cheating on me. (have griefed on battle maps/servers where you are meant to, like an extreme PvP arena type game.)
Times On: Lots of time, sporadically throughout the day US Mtn time. Sometimes late night.
