[Survival][Free-Build][White-List] SGCraft

This was once the server thread for the famous "Builders' Paradise", however, it was discontinued due to the fact that the server too boring, even after the revamp (sandy/desert terrain was too dull).

Therefore, I came up with this new fresh idea for this server. I'm gonna call it SGCraft. Why? SG is the abbrevation for Singapore. This is a Singaporean server (Asian server). Players are strongly encouraged to speak English.

For my old players, I am not going to be putting any creations from Builders' Paradise back on SGCraft. However, if you like, I would give you the download link for the world save, so that you wouldn't feel that your efforts in all that hard building were futile. You can still join, though.

For the new players, don't stop reading though. Do not miss this opportunity to be a part of SGCraft. I trust that this is going to be a wonderful server. Even sanjar12345 (Owner of probably - one of the biggest Minecraft Hamachi Servers) endorsed this server.

Transitions from Builders' Paradise to SGCraft

• The "op" title would not be readily given anymore. Players have to use what they have gathered to build their structures. The default gamemode shall be 0, which means survival mode. Players have to mine, obtain their desired materials and build whatever they so desire. This, I feel, is more meaningful than simply spawning items. It adds sentimental value to the creation.

• More beautiful terrain. Previously on the server, there was flat grassland. At first, it might seem as though it's a very convenient thing. However, after a period of time, the flat land simply lacks the variation that is found in generated terrain. The generated terrain opens up windows of opportunities for all players. For instance, players could build marvelous lakeside houses, or a beach house, or a house on top of a mountain.

•Vibrant community. Previously on the server, any player was allowed to enter the server. Although most of the players I encountered were mostly kind and hospitable, some black sheep still remained. Griefers still came in and destroyed pixel art and buildings which were very painstakingly built. As a result, the server has decided to adopt a white-list so that outstanding and excellent players can be filtered and demarcated from the ordinary and simply put, the unpleasant.

•It might be a bit ironic to state this but, this server does not run on Hamachi. I have found, from my own personal experience, that Hamachi causes more lag. As a result, this server has been port-forwarded and no longer engages the use of Hamachi anymore.

Some useful Plug-ins that SGCraft has adopted

1. AuthMe (Prevents other players from logging in as you with a cracked client)
2. WorldEdit (In-game map editor)
3. WorldGuard (Guard your creations)(Bans TNT, Flint and Steel)

Although most of the commands are reserved for administrators only, the administrators will gladly assist you in protecting your creations with WorldGuard.

Rules

• Griefing is strictly prohibited. Anybody caught in such an act shall be banned without hesitation. Griefing, includes, but not limited to, destroying a structure made by another player, destroying terrain (putting random blocks), misusing lava.

• No TNT or Flint And Steel (Players would not be even able to place them, they will be instantly kicked)

• Be friendly towards other players. Understand their situation and do the right thing.

• This server is not online 24/7. Complaining and whining about such trivial matters is viewed as a nuisance and such actions are deemed disruptive.

• No pleading for an "op" title. Even though players are white-listed, I simply cannot assign absolute trust to them. Unless I know you in reality, you will not receive an "op" title. Period.
