We are pleased to announce our first server wide community competition!
This particular competition is the first of many and we hope everyone gets involved and most importantly enjoy themselves doing so, whilst winning great prizes.
What is it?
The competition is to build the best Mob Arena you possibly can in the given time frame, when the building period is over, there will be one week of voting via a poll on this very website.
After the week is up, the top 3 arena creators will receive the corresponding prizes as well as have their Mob Arenas implemented in to the server for all to enjoy.
Don't worry about setting it up as a Mob Arena, the competition is to build the arena only. Me and Matt will turn the winning arenas in to actual working Mob Arenas.
When?
Building: 10th October, Thursday (6pm GMT) until 21st October, Monday (6pm GMT)
Voting: 22nd October until 29th October
Prizes handed out: 30th October
How is it going to work?
When the 10th of October lands, the creative world will be opened, there players will be given plots (which can be expanded if required). You cannot build outside the given plot, nor can players interfere with your given plot. Each plot will have the utmost protection from griefing and player interference, even from Mods and Administrators to ensure fairness and good sportsmanship among the attendees.
Once the building stage has reached the concluding day & time all players will be removed as owners of the plots and access to the world will be terminated. So make sure you finish on time!
Rules
1) You can only start & stop the building stage when the Admins say so. Any attempt to get a head start or longer building time than other players will result in a disqualification.
2) Do not tamper/alter or grief other player's projects. Even attempting to do so, successful or not, will result in serious punishments. You have been warned.
3) Do not copy another players design or straight up copy another existing Mob Arena on our server or not. All arenas must be completely original.
4) The arena can be any size within your plot and any height, just try to make them aesthetically pleasing Any items/blocks can be used, you are only limited by your imagination.
Rewards
First Place - £25.00 voucher to spend on the store. This can be used to get £25 worth of items for free or used to save money on a bigger purchase. The choice is yours.
Second Place - £10.00 voucher to spend on the store.
Third Place - £5.00 voucher to spend on the store.
For turning up - A special player will get a reward for just turning up!
This award will be a Closed Alpha testing code for a brand new game called End of Nations (Donated kindly by Matt)
