CorvusPVP is a brand new Minecraft server and gaming community which is run by our community for our community. Our goal is to provide a fun and interactive environment that grows from support and actions from our members. The server has many plugins which include ~ Factions, mcMMO, economy, Arenas, and more! JOIN US AND HELP US GROW! We really need players that are willing to join and stay with us while we get through this first month or two and help the traffic increase. We are still less than a week old.




NO WHITE-LIST!!!!

The server has no white-list and is free to join and play. When you first join the land of Corvus you will spawn on our floating spawn area. From there you can access the two large cities of Aeris and Wyvern or access our PVP arena and PVE arena worlds. You can also access a walkthrough tutorial that will allow you to not only read about, but actually see various parts of the land of Corvus. We will be running regular events soon and have a lot of exciting new things to bring to the table when it comes to competitive Minecraft gaming which include:

- A fully functional TEAM pvp arena that runs automatically and provides a little to no risk of losing your items as equipment is provided for you and in-game money compensation for winning (for donators only)

- An open BYOG (bring your own gear) arena for pvp where you can join and prove your self in combat.

- Two 1v1 pvp arenas with little to no risk of losing items as equipment is provided for you and in-game money compensation for winning

- Spleef practice arenas

- Full multi-level maze with awards for finishing

- Hidden areas such as XP shops, and chests with Epic loot in the wilderness.

- Fully functional prison where the baddies are jailed and subject to open unarmed PVP. Escape events will also be run for factions to assist their members in escape or players will be able to warp in to attempt to capture and kill the escapee, sending him back to his prison life.

- Nether

- The End - which is reset weekly giving players the ability to kill the ender dragon over and over.

As a guide for players and staff, the rules are posted here in order to alleviate any confusion. This post will be updated as rules change and this is the official rule list. If it is not here, then it is not a rule. You can also see the rules by typing /rules in-game. You will see the offense followed by the penalty. The penalties are in order of severity (i.e. warning, prison sentence: 1 hour = 1st time you will be warned, the second time you will be sent to prison for 1 hour).

1. No Profanity (Warning, Prison Sentence: 30 minutes, excessive=temp ban: 1day or permaban at Staff's discretion)
2. No CAPS (Warning, Prison Sentence: 15 minutes)
3. No Spamming (Prison Sentence: 30 minutes)
4. No profanity, or misspellings of profanity. (warning, Prison sentence: 30 minutes)
5. No Racism or Discriminatory remarks. "I didn't know that was discriminatory" will not be an accepted excuse. If you don't know what discriminatory entails, come back when you find out. This will absolutely not be tolerated. (Zero Tolerance = Temp Ban 1 day or more)
6. No posting links to public or private servers (Zero Tolerance = Permanent Ban)
7. No disrespecting of Staff (Prison Sentence: 6 hours)
8. No attacking players or players' pets in non PVP areas (Prison Sentence: 2 hours)
9. No attacking players in PVP areas while you are in non PVP areas - this includes arrows, potions, etc.(Prison Sentence: 2 hours)
10. Scamming IS allowed but punishable. This means that if you scam someone successfully you go to prison, but they do not get their items/money back (Prison Sentence: 1 hour)
11. No using chest shops for private storage (Prison Sentence: 1 hour)
12. No X-raying (Prison Sentence: 20 minutes, Prison Sentence: 1 hours, Temp Ban, Permaban)
13. No Hacking Clients like Nodus, Griefcraft, etc. (Prison Sentence: 6 hours, Prison Sentence: 24 hours, Temp Ban: 5 days, Permaban)
14. No Inappropriate Skins (Staff's Discretion) (Temp Ban until skin has been changed)[/left]
