Hello there! Before I say anything about the server, I want to introduce myself so I won't be a complete stranger to all of you potential members/staff members.
My name is Kati, I'm 15 years old, soon to be 16. I've been playing Minecraft since I was 12 and I have quite a bit of experience with running my own servers. I'm the kind of person who tries to keep the atmosphere bright and lively. I have a sense of humor so you don't have to worry about being completely serious all the time. I have a boyfriend who may be joining me on this server as the co-owner, but it's not confirmed yet.
Now that that is out of the way, let me explain what I am looking for. I'm interested in starting a server, I already bought a plan with Host Horde and I'm looking for a group of people who are interested in putting their ideas together to form this server. I am open to all ideas, keeping in mind that we wouldn't be doing anything too big right now until I get a job and can afford to expand the server.
The Process
- You apply here and wait until I review it.
- If accepted, I will add you on Skype and add you to the staff group.
- From there we will discuss the server and all of its components and features.
Rules
I have a few base rules that you must follow if you want to be a part of this server.
1. Respect everyone
- Don't discriminate against anyone. I don't want a community full of people who can't get along because someone has different views than someone else.
2. Make logical decisions
- Don't do anything that would cause negative consequences or harm to the server or another player. In simpler terms, use common sense.
3. Listen to other staff members
- What I mean by this is that what they have to say is important, too. Listening and cooperation is key when it comes to creating a successful server.

Pretty much since my first year of playing minecraft (which was 4 years ago), I've been playing on servers, trying to do what I could do to help. It was during my second year that I really started becoming a prevalent member in various communities, and ever since then, I've been applying and fulfilling staff positions. The first server I was a staff member on was originally a part of the [Expunged] network, but it later branched off and became it's own server, then proceeded to eventually die, which was pretty much why I left. I was a guard at first, and although on various servers guards are not considered staff members, on this network, guards were considered staff members; I was granted the basic essentials permissions which are usually granted to helpers and moderators. That was my first staff experience, and that was what really set the bar for me. The highest position I reached was Jr. Warden (the server had E-A block guards, then wardens which were pretty much under-powered administrators). [Expunged] had a player average of around 50 (It was an individual server). As soon as [Expunged] started to fall apart, I began spending time playing mod packs. The second major server I became a staff member on went by the name [Expunged], and at the time, it was the #1 Hexxit server (A technic launcher modpack). Usually, the server averaged around anywhere from 50-200 players at a time. I spent a whole year as a staff member on that server, pretty much until it too started to fade. The final staff position I reached on that network was moderator+; I was offered a promotion multiple times by the staff manager, but towards the server's decline, I wasn't active enough.I devoted a very large amount of my time to a server called [Expunged] I spent almost 5 moths on this server and I was hard working enough to earn a double promotion to the rank of Moderator, where I believe my full skill and potential was fully used. My most valuable skill is patience. I was part of a staff member group where the experienced staff members would help out the brand new staff and teach them the ropes. Well, my main key to them was to have great patience. I learned that most users ask very similar questions and the repetition of these questions may cause staff members to get angry at these new users, which is definitely NOT something that i would do, and I encouraged the lower ranked members to avoid doing this. I have owned a small server where I became familiar with the logistics and ins and outs of a Minecraft server and how they function. I am extremely familiar with commands, and I don't think I will need an enormous amount of instruction before I am ready to begin being a staff member.

I can provide a reasonable opinion on certain things, I'm very good with economies, and I have a good idea on what a "perfect" server is or what players usually look for in a server that is worth their time.

I am a very kind and understanding person, and you wont find that in just anyone, trust me!
