Why you think you would be a good mod: I reckon I would become a minecraft staff because personality plays a big part in personality. I am I good minecraft moderator, I am clam and can understand an argument without become over heater or frustrated. I have a good amount of common sense and can handle harsh words tossed at me. I WILL NOT go easy on one member will treat all members fairly. I understand my position once I am accepted and will not take advantage of it or abuse my power.
How you think you will contribute to the server?
My main purpose is to support the Server i am going to be associated with and quietly enforce the rules without turning into the Internet Police. I understand that whatever actions i take; be it banning a person, or jailing out hackers/griefers, someone, somewhere is not going to like it.
Being consistent is my key to a good moderator/admin. Learning to place your own likes and dislikes in the deep freeze while i are on the board, will help you find the flames easier. I may not like a certain member, but guess what? That member probably doesn't like me either. Engaging in a power play, singling out this certain member will eventually demean you in the eyes of the others on the team and on the boards. My job is to keep the server running smooth and even though i am not getting paid for my time, i need to show up for work on a regular basis, otherwise others will have to pick up your slack, creating more work for them.
I would take task with the high standards of a person having my maximum talent, or even the potential of ranking talent in any real and meaningful way in the server. Rather, free from so much that binds, I believe I can contribute from helping new people, solving problems caused my players, eg, a person being harassed to the point they want to quit. I will try my best to do the heroic, but in a simple, and simple way.
The ability to understand other players point of view, without placing my own in prime importance to me, myself and other staff members.
Many times there have been arguments that started out disagreeable and turned into effective thoughts of working with people, coming out the other side shaking hands and becoming friends.
On the board where I have moderated on for several servers my own rules are simple:
1. Be a team player
2. Be fair-minded
3. Be diplomatic
4. Don’t let personal issues get in the way of moderating
5. Show up when you can for the job
