Dreadfort is a semi-vanilla, Survival, PvE, PvP and Parkour server with plenty of other features to enjoy. Whether it's exploring the vast lands of survival or fighting in an arena style combat zone, jumping between trees and canyons in parkour or just exploring the castle, Dreadfort will entertain you.
Survival :-
A portal at spawn transports you to a fully vanilla (no-mods) survival spawn area. From this you can do anything you want; whether it be construct a house; make a monument; created a farm; or just acquiring more items for PvP escapades! You can do it all with your friends, or meet new people in the friendly community on the server! This area is the crux of the server, with many players spending the majority of their time on this smooth-running utopian landscape!
Parkour :-
From snow to nether, 8 uniquely themed parkours will keep you ocupied on the server, each one crafted by a team of builders which rival the painters of the Sistine Chapel under the leadership of a pseudo-Michelangelo whilst still encapsulating the fundamental design engineering that echoes the work of Isambard Kingdom Brunel. The eight themes cover multiple scenarios available in minecraft and increase with difficulty with a relevant reward for each, allowing you to play one that suits your ability. Most of the maps are easy to master and fun to play although be warned, Diamond parkour is extremely difficult!
PvP :-
This server is layered with constant Player versus Player areas. The survival area occasionally is used by players for battles, however there are other areas designed specifically for PvP. The Colosseum is used for a 1v1 battle in a thrilling environment. Alternatively, the King of the Hill game adds a rural dimension to battling, with any number of players allowed to enter. Most importantly, the King of the Hill has consistent bonuses for the player at the top of the hill: an XP boost that allows easy levelling - if you can defend it! You can also jump right into pvp with the rewards from the various parkour maps, Happy Hunting!
The Castle :-
The castle, much like many of the parkour maps, is riddled with secrets. Some are only small while others are huge! The black market, deep within the sewers, can offer great deals which cant be found anywhere else. At a first glance, these sewers are short and contain 1 or 2 pathways, however upon further examination, these sewers can offer hours of exploration and entertainment. Can you find all the secrets in the castle?
Other :-
A shop at spawn is catered to every need using a currency of emeralds - and a 0% inflation rate. If you need some emeralds to get some equipment try voting here to get 2 free emeralds every 24 hours! Otherwise the parkours give rewards of emeralds and useful basic equipment that can give a significant head start in survival. The server has an ender chest system giving basic storage accessible anywhere. There is a boat race at spawn, and occasionally there will be a drop party, which is completely community funded, that gives you a chance of getting free diamonds and other valuable items which have been donated!
