About EtherealCraft
EtherealCraft is a new and upcoming community primarily based around the Factions mod. We pride ourselves on providing the best Faction experience, along with competent and mature staff members to maintain the peace. As we are a new and expanding community, from what you see of us now you can only expect better in the months and years to come. However, we are confident that what we currently offer now will be more than satisfactory for the best Factions experience for you and your friends.

Server Information
As previously stated, we are a new community and thus cannot fund a extremely powerful server by ourselves, without your support. Nevertheless we are confident that our current rig is more than capable of providing a stable, lag free server for you to enjoy. If and when we expand as a community, upgrading our rig is one of our utmost priorities.
EtherealCraft, as a new community gladly boasts to you a rig with an Intel i5 processor (4x 2.66+ GHz), 16 GBs of RAM and 2 TB of hard drive space.

EtherealCraft Hierarchy
We have a mature and aware administration team. Like many other communities, as our Moderators and Administrators gradually work their way up, they gain more responsibilities. Our hierarchy is as such:
Core Administrators
This is the position of the founders of EtherealCraft, namely Wilven and Caedus. It is our responsibility to make sure you are as happy as can be with EtherealCraft. We urge you to address us with any problem you might encounter, whether it be a complaint about a community member, a member of the Admin Staff, or about us!
Administrators
As our community expands, this rank will be held by few. As far as permissions 'ingame' go, there is little that differs them from the Core Administrators. Obviously they inherit the responsiblities and power of the Advanced Moderators, and much more!
Advanced Moderators
Once promoted to Advanced Moderator, with our trust in you comes more power to do good. Only members who have proven themselves worthy may rise to this rank
Moderators
The moderator rank is the first step in your journey to conquer the chain of command! Naturally, being a moderator gives you the ability to help people on the server. The moderator rank is regarded as a trial phase, which you must pass in order to be promoted to Advanced Moderator.

EtherealCraft Rules
General Rules List

No cheating/exploiting of any kind.
No racism, sexism, homophobia etc.
No excessive swearing.
No spamming.
Do not abuse caps lock.
Do not use client side mods that haven�t been approved.
Do not use exploits (Block lag, relogging, pistons).
No 1 block towers (unless used in a raid).
Do not leave floating trees.
Don�t offend any member of the Admin Staff.
Don�t be annoying.
No spawn camping.
No abusing caps in chat.



Factions Rules List

No faction hopping.
Do not join a faction simply to grief it/steal from it
If it is griefable (IE not protected), you can grief it.
When raiding, you are only allowed to kill your opponent three times each.
When creating a faction, the name must comply with General Rule #2.
No pushing players into PVP areas.
No attacking players in a safe zone in any way.
Don�t throw potions at spawn.
Don�t shoot fire arrows at spawn.
No PVP logging

Failure to abide by all of these rules can result in a punishment varying from jail time to a permanent ban.

EtherealCraft Dashboard

That's right! EtherealCraft has it's very own Dashboard. What does it do? Well it does many things and every feature deserves its own lengthy description, but I will try to keep it short. The EtherealCraft dashboard is a powerful and useful tool for all of our players. It is a relatively small application written in C#, that notifies you of several things. It tells you if the server is online, how many people are on it, it provides you with a list of all current online players. On top of that, it tells you what current version of Minecraft the server is running, and informs you if you are not in sync with our server! If you accidentally updated Minecraft to see the cool new features, but unfortunately the server cannot until the plugins have been updated, there is no need to worry. The EtherealCraft Dashboard will give you the opportunity to downgrade your current Minecraft.jar, to that of our server.
