Factions vs. Prison [1 Winner Will Receive $25]

Prison is better because it has smuggling, black market, exc. and it has pvp were you fight to survive the higher class people and you try to buy a cell and live in your cell and try to thrive for survival. Factions are worse because every time you join the first 10,000 blocks you always see other peoples building and wreckage everywhere, also its no fun how you cant grief when theirs protection all around peoples bases ;(

My vote goes to Prison.

It all depends on the players, and how they see each of them. Factions doesn't really contain anything special about it but is one of the most basic plugins for a minecraft server that isn't complicated. Prison is for servers dedicated to its cause, and can have ranks and other special features. I am neutral to this subject, but if given the choice to choose, I would choose factions. Yes, prison can be configured much better than factions, but factions is seen more and is extremely popular in servers. Most prison servers I have seen are completely dedicated to prison most of the time. Factions can be used for anything you wish, it doesn't interfere much. I am not trying to say that I'm not a fan of prison, I have played to before and it's not bad. I myself use factions and it can be used for events, and works well with towny. To sum it up, this isn't really problem on which is better, it's what YOU prefer.

i would say prison because there are a ton of servers with factions. but if you want a successful server go with sky wars. that is what i would do

I'd say prison because there are less of these type of servers, but recently i've noticed a large increase in prison servers its kinda getting popular

But still i do think prison is better especially if you have alot of unique features, I'm currently in the making of a prison server so i hope that turns out good.

For Factions, its not really a good idea, like its really not i've tried making a faction server atleast 3-4 times and failed, but if your a type of person who is patient you'll probably succeed more than others.

I would say prison mainly because it was my first minecraft server and experiance.(Yes I went on a prison server before even starting a world....)I find them really addicting and very fun.It also has more purpose then factions and factions gets boring after a few days as where prison never gets boring.And for the factions lovers most server after someone is free its kinda like a factions server

Prison > Factions

1. Prison adds an RPG element to the game, giving motivation to keep working.
2. Faction servers are everywhere.
3. Most Faction servers give out ridiculous, unbalanced rewards.

A prison with factions.

A prison is very fun because it has so many things you can customize about it while still keeping the theme of prison. This way, you can be more original. Factions servers are pretty much all the same, with the same objective, same spawn-like thing. However, in a prison, it is good to team up with people (just don't let them claim anything), which is why I say to add factions into the prison server. Also, isn't it so satisfying when you get up to the rank you've been working towards for the past few days?

Also, there are a lot more Factions servers than Prison servers.

Prison becuz its less used and factions is just over used as
