We, The Falkor Network are back and stronger than ever!!
After a year of concepting, planning and developing we can finally announce that The Falkor Server has launched in it’s BETA-mode.

Let’s begin with some of the server’s & Network’s history:
It all started with an idea. When I, Gagenkraft was playing Vanilla Minecraft with my friends, I came to a conclusion that I wanted to do more with this game than only playing it.
So my interests in Minecraft started to grow, till I reached a point to create & develop a Minecraft Server for my own. First I started with my friends, but later on I wanted to go public. So after a long period of concepting & planning things out, I was finally ready to begin the development of my dream. So I searched for an active and dedicated Staff throughout the process. Eventually I found some people to help me and with those people I started to make my dream come to reality.
After the staff was created, we started to build and develop the server. We worked for days, weeks and even months. We had some ups and downs but we kept fighting, because we knew this was going to be something big that we would create together. So the server had a solid planning and was being created in a devastating rate. Besides the server I was setting up the Media around the server.
Besides creating a Minecraft Server, I had another dream: Creating a Game Community for multiple games where gamers can come together to talk, to play or just to chill for a while. In this way I wanted to create a community where the gamers decided what we are going to do next. So for the beginning I mashed my two dreams together to create an amazing atmosphere for (Minecraft) Gamers.
So I started to develop the website & other media around the Falkor Server. And with that the “Falkor Network” was born. Because of my history and current job as a Media Designer & Front-end Developer I was capable to do this all by my own due to my experience. For now the Falkor Network is only based on Minecraft, but later on I want to expand it to multiple games so we can offer you multiple options.
After the website was finished and the (social) media was setup, we could finally finish the last parts of the Falkor Server. By the time the server was done, we got our hosting NeoSync, so we could finally go live/public. After some tests with the staff, we came to the conclusion that we were ready to launch my dream. I actually made a mistake in the last sentence, let’s correct it. It is not “my dream” anymore, due to the staff and the other people that helped me out creating & developing this server, I can say that “my dream” should be changed into “our dream”.
Let’s talk some more about the Server & Network:
Our server is a medieval survival/mini games hub server. Why survival & minigames? Our main goal is to create a server that brings balance between Minigames and the original Vanilla Minecraft gameplay.
- Our base and most important server is the Survival server. It is our most important server, because in the time that I was playing Minecraft every day, I enjoyed playing the vanilla Minecraft the most. We want to maintain this gameplay so it will not be forgotten. The only thing that we add to this gameplay is extra features which players can use to expand their gameplay even further.
- Besides the vanilla Minecraft, minigames are getting more popular than ever. That’s why we added those to our server, so we can reach a bigger audience. For now we only have Skywars as our only minigame, but of course we will expand this to multiple minigames in the future.
- As last we have a creative server where the player can build whatever they want in creative mode. In this way players can build what they have never built before. Besides the freedom to build, players can be selected for a Builders Application based on their builds. In this way players with a lot of talent can become a part of the server by doing something they really enjoy.
Of course this list will grow and multiple new game modes will be added in the future, but for now this gives us the best and most solid base to start developing our server further.
Extra Server information:
- The server runs on Spigot 1.8 So your game also needs to run Minecraft Version 1.8 or higher.
- The server is 24/7 open. So 99% uptime. The 1% that it’s offline we are adding major changes.
- Servers are only restarted once a day if it is really needed.
- The server is in BETA-mode so it is possible that there are some small mistakes in the server. If you find any of those mistakes, we highly recommend you to contact:

We want to create a great community and to accomplish that we need to reach a large amount of people. We can do that on our own with the current media that we have now, but that will not be enough.
That’s why we give you the opportunity to link yourself to our Network. If you have a growing Youtube channel or Twitch account you can link yourself to us, by making video’s or streams about the Falkor server or the Falkor Network. In this way we share our popularity and you can become a part of big dream that we all enjoy.
You are probably thinking: What do I get in return for advertising or joining the Falkor Network?
We don’t offer you money, because we think that sharing experience and popularity is way more important than just only money. What I believe is when you do something for someone, that person will do something in return. So if you are a starting Youtuber or Streamer, we can help you create your own identity. Because I’m a Designer and a Front-end Developer, I can create your identity by making you a logo, banner, graphic, website or an animation for your video’s etc. In this way we both give each other the things that we need, you will get your own identity so people can recognize and link themselves better to you, we will get more popularity because we are linked to your profile.
Why is this a fair deal?
It’s a fair deal because as you can see, the things that I make (look at the website etc.) aren’t like the average things. It’s my real-life job to make those media products, so I’m taking every product as serious as the one that came before.
Besides your own identity, we will make a separate page for your channel/profile that will be displayed on our website. The content that will be on that page is up to you to fill in, from Tweet feeds to a YouTube channel video feed, everything is possible. And of course your name (channel name) will be announced in our own media. In that way we want to thank you for what you did for us.
Last but not least, the applications:
The following applications are open for the public, so all the ranks that are missing, are not available for the public yet (such as Admin and up):
- Head-Moderator, will be chosen from the Moderators that are part of the staff.
In charge of all moderators and also writes the rules along with the owner and head administrator, he gives the other moderators advice, tips etc. And he will contact the owner or the head admin if there is some problem he can't fix.
Requirements
- Must be 16 years old or older. There is room for exceptions.
- Needs to know English.
- Active player & staff on the server. You are the player’s voice, so it can’t be missed.
- Voice communication, either Skype or TeamSpeak. Voice communication is key and also used for the verification of your age. Our server is based on trust, not on lies.
Moderator
Is always there to help players by giving them info about the server and guide them through the tutorial/practice maps when the player needs their help. Also manages chat and makes sure everyone follows the rules.
Requirements
- Must be 14 years old or older. There is room for exceptions.
- Needs to know English.
- Active player & staff on the server. You are the player’s voice, so it can’t be missed.
- Voice communication, either Skype or TeamSpeak. Voice communication is key and also used for the verification of your age. Our server is based on trust, not on lies.
Builder
They build the spawn, mini game arenas, lobbies and everything else, so the most free staff members on the server, because they will get a subject/idea, no rules or specific demands, just your imagination and your creative thinking. Builders have the same permissions & commands as moderators.
Requirements
- Must be 14 years old or older. There is room for exceptions.
- Needs to know English.
- Needs to show his portfolio/his proof of being a good builder.
- Active player. Active as staff when there are projects to be build. Besides that you are a moderator to, so also act like a moderator would do.
- Voice communication, either Skype or TeamSpeak. Voice communication is key and also used for the verification of your age. Our server is based on trust, not on lies.
Youtuber/Streamer
As I mentioned before Youtubers/Streamers are in a partnership with the Falkor Network, so those application will be done over voice communication, instead of the forum. It’s highly recommended to still reply to this post, just to let me know that you want to become a partner.
Requirements
- Must be 14 years old or older.
- Needs to know English.
- Needs his channel as proof.
- Needs to have good equipment: good mic.
- Active player. Active Youtuber or Streamer.
- Voice communication, either Skype or TeamSpeak. Voice communication is key and also used for the verification of your age. Our server is based on trust, not on lies.
Application Form:
- What is your IGN?
- Your age? (Like I said before: “There can be exceptions), if I see you are good enough to work with us we will never turn you down)
- Function you want to apply for? (Choose one of the function I mentioned above)
- Tell about yourself (Like who are you? What do you do? What do you like? etc. max 1 paragraph).
- Your skills (What are you good in?)
- Can you provide links or images of your former designs/creations/builds? Besides that what genre do you prefer to build in, like terraforming or architecture? (Only needed If you apply for builder)
PS: when you are saying that you are a really good builder etc. then try to prove it because if I want I can say that I'm a purple dotted monkey that lives in a tub, you can't prove it that I'm not looking like that because there is no evidence. So post images or links, just so I can see what you made or what you are making, and besides that I'm just curious.
