Welcome to gnarCraft!
gnarCraft is a vanilla-play, survival server for adults (18+). We strive to promote a fun and community-based atmosphere with a strict anti-griefing and anti-theft policy. There are minimal plugins used, and the only non-vanilla play you will notice is a world border and fire spread is off.
We are a small but well established server, and several of us have been together here since the summer of 2012 (new map as of January 2013). We have many community farms and a growing spawn town.
Community projects are being planned such as a new nether hub for easy access to the new 1.7.2 biomes and PvP areas. We also occasionally schedule parties/adventure maps/games and will be doing more. If you would rather just go off and build on your own, that's cool too. You are welcome regardless of your experience or play style.
Server Features:

Server Rules:
1. No griefing or stealing
2. Play is strictly legit and vanilla. The Mods play as legit as everyone, don't ask for items or teleport.
3. PvP must be agreed to by all parties involved.
4. Be respectful. Being goofy and cracking jokes are fine. Racial slurs are not.
5. No X-raying, hacks or exploitation of glitches (if you are unsure, please ask a Mod first)

Thanks Franklin and Kennuckle. I've whitelisted a lot of new people the last few days so I'm going to stop for the time being. I don't want too many new people at once, we need a chance to get to know each other.

Would you be able to make exceptions for people who are under the age od 18? You could talk to me on Skype and stuff like that before you let me on the server. I'm interested in joining though.
Sorry, I need to stick to the 18+ rule. If I start to make exceptions it just gets messy and is too much trouble. I won't even let my own nephew on the server until he is 18

dude, I'm gonna be honest with you. If you want applications sent then you need to lower the age requirement. I'm 14 and I would have sent an app if it hadn't been for that rule.
There are a lot of players over 18. It's true that recruiting on this forum has not been very successful, but I keep trying! I've had good success recruiting elsewhere. The 18+ model does work.

Apparently you didn't read the OP at all. It's whitelisted, you have to fill out the application, and your age has to be 18+
