MEDMANIA would like to invite you to come play on our new server and join in on the fun and games.
MEDMANIA is a group of friends who play a selection of various games. We have recently decided to run our own MineCraft server as we got tired of servers we played on shutting down. Some of us have a vast knowledge of MineCraft and the plugins we use so you will not be joining a server of incapable staff.
We have done as much as possible to make the server as user friendly as possible providing players joining read all the signs. We have put alot of hard work into setting this up so please ensure you utilise all the facitilties and abilites you have at your disposal on our server.
We will be hosting many events including Spleef, Archery, Ladder Climb, Parkour, Wither Arena, Capture The Flag, Infected and Invisible Wall to give you the chance to win some nice goodies.
When you first join our server you will be given a full set of Iron Armour, Iron Sword + a full set of Iron Tools + some other useful items.

Many new plugins added and updated
Server has been updated to 1.6.2

DwarfForge has now been updated and working well on the server. It has changed slightly in how it works so do not be alarmed. The way it used to work would be each furnace took one item at a time from the input chest but now each furnace will take a full stack or partial stack and work on that job until it is all smelted/cooked then will take another stack/partial stack. It still sends 1 completed item to the output chest
As many of you know, i have been messing with some pretty awesome new plugins. The new plugins range from houses that auto build to you getting more money and better drops from mobs now. One of the changes i have made is that the EnderDragon now drops some pretty cool random gear including mob spawners and pays out between 20k and 25k if you get the kill but you do need to be quick to grab the drops as they could fall into the exit portal the dragon spawns when it dies

Many changes and plugins added. We are also working on a large project to add mini games to the server. )
I have added a scoreboard to the server that shows your kills, deaths and some other cool info.
We are now running Craftbukkit 1.5.1
Minecraft 1.5.1 has been released today and it is safe for you to update your games, However i will not be updating the server until all the plugins have updated so we will remain running 1.5 but you will still be able to connect okay.

and it should rollback your game to 1.4.7. It is the Voxel modpack and
is quite harmless plus it installs a mini map for you. Just make sure
you select NOT to install VoxelFlight.

We have now updated to CraftBukkit 1.4.7. We are also currently working on adding Hunger games and Team Fortress2 to the server.
We have now added several worlds. You now get to enjoy:
Survival world: no pvp enabled
Pvp world: it is our pvp world "well duh"
Creative world: get creative in one of our nice large 100x100 block plots
Events world: all of our events will be hosted here
and you still get to enjoy the good old ones The End and Nether.
