I don't know why this is but i just made a hamachi server but only i can go on it but no one else can. I have been searching through forums,websites,videos for the past week, still no luck. I keep hearing about stuff like connections,firewalls,port forward and many stuff i don't understand. I am a total noob but i really want my server to work. Can someone out there give me simple step by step instructions to what to do. Please help, i'll appreciate it.

if its a hamachi server, then you have to have minecraft_server.exe (or .jar) running as well as hamachi, and they have to be connected to you on hamachi, and they have to enter the ip at the top of the hamachi window + your port (usually :25565)

First of all, post your server.properties file. Open it using Notepad or Notepad++.
Also, start your server and paste to us like, the first 5 lines of output. Usually it will tell you what the IP:Port is, which we can see if it is different from what you're telling your friends to connect to.

In the server properties try changing online-mode=false to online-mode=true.
i have cracked minecraft, if i do that i can't go on
Then well thats prob why ur friends cant join
in server properties i have online mode=false so people with cracked can play.some people who tried to join my server have cracked minecraft too and they can't join either.
It can't be enough trouble to get some money from mowing lawns or something and buy the dang game?! It's so much easier.
