Help me out here

Hello, I'm not exactly sure that this is the correct forum to post this under but there wasn't a place for it in the server section. Basicly I've been owning a server for over a year now, but I've had to take it down here and there. Recently I've brought my server back up (2-3 weeks ago) and I'm working on making my server unique and better than others. Currently I have that's different from most servers:
Craft able Emerald Armor
Craft able Axe That Knocks Up
Craft able Bow that has a chance of shooting lightning.
Voting Credits That you can trade for certain rare items
Rank Up To Member+ After 24H of playtime
The other things being little/more server have them.

Yet my problem is not getting these ideas it is that I just can't get players on. I've tried contacting several youtubers, websites and people on planetminecraft but they couldn't help me out. I have a little youtube channel that I am going to post on soon, but its just not working out all too well. Is there anything ELSE I can do the help expand my server to more than it already is? Is there a way to contact a youtube that would help me out?
