Help Setting Up Server

I made a server and it works, but all I need help with is how do I get the IP to my server because when I set it up I used 'localhost' where your supposed to put your server IP in because I was setting it up, but I want to play with friends so if you could answer me how to get the IP, that would be greatly appreciated

use ip chicken or type use cmd and do ipconfig. Paste that as ip
Your router may block incoming/outgoing connections from port 25565 so it's always a good idea to port forward that port to prevent any issues.
That means you are hosting it off your system and the IP should be your personal IP. To view what your IP is simply google it. Should be self explanatory, the port is set to :25565 so whatever your IP is it would be like this... x.x.x.x:25565
