Help with server

Hi, i currently own a server with http://sharkhost.co/ I need some advice because for some reason when i 40+ people log on to a 5 gig server with 1 world and 31 plugins it laggs like crazy! i am thinking about moving to http://ggservers.net/features.html Is this a good idea? Will ggserver have less lag?

It depends on your plans. Minceraft is not multithreaded, so you would only need maybe 8 cores at the most to covers the very few plugins that are. If you tell me the plans that you are looking at purchasing, I can answer your question much better.
○ Look for a host that uses SSD not HDD (faster)
○ 64 cores is almost useless (not multithreaded)
○ Follow the recomended player count and ask for donations and use that money to updgrade if you dont want to use your own
