Afternoon,
The Minecraft network I represent is hiring new developers into our junior content development team. To be considered, you need to be professional when necessary, detail-oriented, a team player, and (bonus) willing to teach others what you know. You also must fit into one of my two groups detailed below:
Experienced
You have a lot of experience with Java 8/9 and Spigot 1.8.8+. A day's worth doesn't make you qualified! You are also at least competent in all of the following:
Inexperienced*
You've been using Java 7/8/9 for a while now, but you're having trouble finding places to work or projects to work on, or you need some help occasionally. We're here for you! We ask a couple things from you in all circumstances, though: that you're <b>driven, accepting of mistakes that are made (by you or others), and that you are willing to learn.</b> If your goal isn't to learn and improve, we can't take you. I personally joined this organization over a year ago, and I came in as a relatively confident programmer. That idea died pretty fast. Over my time here, I've learned about things I never knew existed, and I'm more confident in my abilities, but I still make mistakes, and so will you. I still have my dumb moments, so will you. You just need to accept it (as we will) and move on, and always be trying to improve. This is so important to us, in fact, you could have somewhat little experience programming in Java and you could potentially become a developer. Just try to improve, always.
If you think you could work with us, please, reply to this thread or PM me either with a self-structured application or a greeting, whatever. I look forward to hearing from you, as does the network. Thanks.
