are you hosted or hosting? like from your computer?
hosted fixed it now the people who are hosting my server are waiting for a recommended build to be released
all you need to do is wait for your provider to upload the new jar.
Its fairly simple just change the Minecraft jar with a new one. if all your settings files are in 1 just chnage the one that you click to start the server, with a new one from here: https://minecraft.net/download
