Innectis runs on its own plugin, created by Hretsam, The_Lynxy, and AlphaBlend, called Innectis Dedicated Plugin. There are a number of features that have been incorporated into this plugin. Some of these features are unique to our server alone! Our biggest feature is the lot system.
Be sure to read our feature list to get a gist of what we have to offer. Some of our features were picked from suggestions by users. We grow both in the development of the server by the dev staff, as well as the contributions of the community as a whole.
Lots - The Finest Feature of Innectis
The biggest feature Innectis has to offer is its lot system. Everyone who comes on the server is entitled to at least one 30x30 lot. Type /getlot as you enter the server to be given a lot. You are the only one that can build in this lot, no one else. You may allow other users to build as well.
Players don't have to worry about griefing while on their lot. It is only your fault if you allow someone to build on your lot who is a griefer! However, we will take action if we catch a griefer in the act.
You may either gather resources from your lot, or /warp reszone to gather resources.
Other Worlds
We have more than just the main world. All users may gather resources by heading over to the Resource Zone (/warp reszone). We also have The Nether (/warp nether), The Aether (/warp aether), a world called Freebuild (/warp freebuild), a 2D art world called Creative (/warp creative), and a world which will be used later called Event World (not added to warps yet).
Freebuild is a world where everyone can build on. If you have an idea for a good structure, but don't wish to make it in your lot, you can go to Freebuild. You could even invite your friends to build a structure there.
Games and Entertainment
Every once in awhile, the staff will have events or games for people to play. Do you like spleef? We have warps just for those kind of games! We have other events that we'll host now and then. We usually hand out prizes to winners.
We don't just hold events with prizes. We also have games, including football! Ever seen a football game on Minecraft? If you haven't, our server is the place to check it out!
User Groups
To help keep the server funded, user groups were created, each with its own perks. Starting at VIP, you can have up to 3 lots, each 100x100 in size. The other groups are Super VIPs, and Goldys.
Other Features
Below is a list of just some of our features. You'll have to view the whole list on our forum located at http://forum.innectis.net.
- TinyWE
A scaled down version of World Edit available to Super VIPs and up that allows them to obtain a large quantity of blocks at once. See this topic for more information.
-Gates
You can make gates that open/close that you can use for features such as castle gates. Another form is bridges with that appear / disappear!
-Quick trash bin
You may trash your items quickly by using the /trash command. Just put any item in there you don't want to keep.
- Local chat
Chat messages are sent globally, to each player. To talk to nearby players (within 30 blocks), place a @ symbol before your text.
- Items kept on death
When you die, 85% of your items will be kept. The other 15% can be found in the location you died.
- Player-owned lots
Each player gets the opportunity to own a 30x30 lot. Only they can place or destroy blocks here. There are commands to allow other players to build, or to ban other players from ever entering the lot. Donating to the server allows you to get additional, bigger lots – VIP (only 5$) gets you 3x as big lot sizes and lot count.
- Lot names
You can have your lot be accessible as a public warp! Just use /setlotname <name> while on your lot. Players then may warp to it using the /warp command. (I.E. /setlotname Shop, it is now accessible by /warp shop, so long as an official warp does not have that name)
- Lot flags
There are a number of things you can do while on your lot, such as explosions, placing no mobs, and Farm ( protect your livestock). These take the form of flags that may be turned on or off with the use of the /setflag command.
- Chest locks
When a chest is placed, that user is the only one that can open the chest. Others can be allowed to access it.
- Waypoints
A waypoint is a block, that when right-clicked, teleports the user to another location. To add a waypoint, you must have 3 lapiz lazuli blocks. Type /wpadd on the spot you want the waypoint to be located at, and then type /wpset [id] to set the destination of the waypoint.
- Player versus player
Players can engage in PvP combat in two ways. The first is a lot-flag. When PvP is enabled on a lot, any other player in that lot can attack you, and you can attack them! The second is a global user-flag, toggled with /pvp. When this flag is on, anyone else with it on can attack you, even if you are both outside a PvP lot. When a player kills another player, they gain PvP points. For every kill of the same player within 10 minutes, the amount of points gained is cut in half. PvP Points are used to buy exclusive PvP reward items at the PvP shop (not yet functional). PvP damage is calculated by the plugin, not standard Minecraft values. Armor mitigates damage no matter how broken it is.
