How to play

1.) Chat Rules:
– Respect the Freedoms and Rights of other players and staff!
– Do not verbally grief other players or staff!
– No sexist, racist, pornographic, drug, talk in public chat! (No political talk in the public chat)
– Do not spam the chat. This includes speaking/yelling in caps!
– Do not jokingly or otherwise threaten to hack the server or other players. Know that we do not take such matters lightly!
– Do not use a player name violates chat rules or names that are on the banable list! (More will be added as we see them)
2.) Game Rules:
- Do not abuse in game mechanics or plugins!
– Do not cheat, abuse or otherwise use minecraft exploits. Always tell staff if you have found a bug/exploit!
– No use of mods/clients that give you an advantage over others!
– Cheating the AFK kicker is not allowed!
– Use of ANY scripting/macros is not allowed!
3.) PvP, Raiding, and Griefing Rules:
Pvp is allways allowed.
Raiding is always allowed.
Light griefing is always allowed.
Hard core pvp, raiding, and griefing is only allowed on War Days.
Pvp = Player vs Player.
Raiding = Stealing things without causing any damage.
Griefing = Breaking other peoples builds.
Light Griefing = When your break things but its hardly noticable.
– Do not complain about being killed. This is a pvp server, so people will try and kill you!
– If you are killed, do not ask staff to get your items back!
4.) Trading, Shop, and Auction Rules:
– All person to person trades are done at the risk of the player. If you are scammed or someone else picks up your items. Do not get staff involved!
– Do not auction anything names inappropriatly. You are not allowed to have such items. No matter who made it, If you are caught in possession of the item you will take the punishments!
5.) Forum Rules:
– Do not spam the forums with posts.
– Do not “resurrect” dead posts. If a post is more than a 3 weeks old, it is considered dead!
Notes:
Most of the rules in the Chat section apply for the forums as well!
We no longer take ban appeals. You buy an unban in the donation shop!
Respect the conduct of warfare!
You are responsible for your own account. If your friend, family, etc logs in and is caught breaking rules, it is your problem!
The server will not reimburse items lost in crashes/rollbacks or from lag. Know that all public servers are vulnerable to crashes/lag and it can happen to anyone!
Look at the auction you’re bidding on. If you get scammed because you bought a piece of coal renamed Diamond, that’s your problem!
General Rule to keep in mind: Don’t do/say anything that you wouldn’t want people to do/say to you!
While these may seem like a lot of rules, they each have their purpose and help keep the server running smoothly. If you are confused about any of them, please do not hesitate to make a post in the forums or ask a member of our staff ingame. Please note that these rules are subject to change and it is your responsibility to occasionally check them. Also note that the staff maintains the right to make judgement calls on situations not covered by these rules!
6.) Making/Joining factions:
Only staff and the donation rank Decanus can make a faction. After a faction is created the faction owner adds people to it. (They dont have to add u) Together they build up and grow. Trying to conquer. Players without a faction are considered hobos. They are the worlds hobos no matter how much stuff they have.
7.) Kicked from/Leaving factions:
Being kicked from a faction and leaving one are two different things. Make sure you know the difference. Leaving is by choice, being kicked is not. You are not permitted to tp anyone to the faction base within the first 3 days of you joining. Also you may not tp people to the base within 3 days before you leave.
Kicked:
Faction owner can kick you, but they can not make you leave empty handed. Although you are not permitted to take all of your belongings. There is a list of items the faction owner must give you. If the faction owner does not have these things to give you, then they can not kick you.
Item List:
1 Set of full iron armor
1 Pickaxe
1 Sword
1 Shovel
1 Axe
5 Sixty-four stacks of oak wood. (Not planks)
4 Sixty-four stacks of different sources of food.
2 Sixty-four stacks of tourches.
1 Lava bucket
2 Water buckets
3 Sixty-four stacks of cobble.
3 Sixty-four stacks of coal
32 Iron ingots
3 Diamonds
Anything currently in the persons inventory
Anything the person still has left from any donations
Leaving:
You have the right to leave the faction you are in at anytime. You must leave empty handed. Since its by your choice. If you have a home set at the faction base you must unset it.
Notes:
Items you can not take only pertain to items inside the factions claimed land.
After you leave or are kicked from the faction. They do not have to unclaim anything for you.
Trust the factions you join and never keep all your items there.
8.) Other Faction rules:
- Do not kill, raid or grief your own faction.
Result:
1st Offence - 24 hours Ban + faction owner has the right to kick you without giving you anything!
2nd Offence - 48 hour Ban + faction owner had the right to kick you without giving you anything!
3rd Offence - Perm Ban!
9.) War Days:
War Days are a 24 hour period where the server goes full hard core pvp, raiding, and griefing. (Still are not permitted to kill, raid, or grief your own faction)
