LAN server
i cannot join my cousins LAN server minecraft keeps saying searching for local server and we have both updated minecraft and tried alot of different things and we cant seem to get it to work please help

LAN servers only work if you are using the same router. If it doesn't work and you and your cousin live in the same house, use 2 different PCs and have 2 different accounts then there is an error.
i know all that but we are on the same internet and in different accounts and it wont let us join eachother
