Deslyon is an upcoming towny open-world that seeks to redefine the boundaries of Minecraft towny to the next step, introducing new mechanics and elements into Minecraft. Designed with an immersive expansive world, in addition to the in-depth action-packed features, you will find yourself being drawn into rich gameplay with hundreds of hours to immerse yourself in.
Deslyon is an idea as of right now, but ever-expanding with new ideas and concepts that we think will take the community by storm. We are currently underway writing the documentation of Deslyon, containing everything from our core values and what the future of Deslyon will bring to the Minecraft community.
Our pledge is to always be honest, transparent, and respectful to our growing community as we navigate the inevitable hurdles we’ll encounter on the road to completion together. We will listen to your comments, with an open and willing spirit, and keep communication at the forefront of our development so that each of you feels your voice is heard and that you are a part of something awesome.
We few are a part of an ever-expanding team of developers, artists, administrators and freelancers across the globe coming together to create Deslyon. All of us have a common direction, perfection. Achieving perfection is not easy, but our team is willing to face any problem in order to create the ideal server for you.
World
Our world is not a common one. Here, in the lands of Deslyon Minecraft is no longer Minecraft. By joining our server you will release the creative side of yourself. Our world is custom made by one of the best build teams out there and it is made in a way to make the gameplay fly on a new level of experience. Here in Deslyon you can travel all around the world meet new people, create your town, trade with other towns, fight with them and most importantly, have fun!
The world is around about 25 thousand blocks on each side. We need developers to work hard every day to create new custom plugins that will make the world even better. As for now, we have a few ideas such as having different kind of trees and different kind of drops. We are also going to add small villages all over the world. These villages are raidable and you can get loot from destroying them completely. Don’t worry, each village will re-appear after 12 hours with less loot. If you let the village grow then you might even get more loot than the last time!
Other than Villages/Dungeons and player Towns you can find abandoned underground cities were usually dragons protect them. If you raid these cities you get tons of loot for you and your mates!
Apply
Before applying I should let you know what traits we are looking for;
· Creativity: Think outside the box! Use different ways to learn, create and play. Building a creative form strategies are essential for community loved servers.
· Attention to Detail: Finding things others might not have noticed, big or small.
· Follow Instructions: Every new update has new content to check, you MUST be able to follow the orders given by a higher ranking role. We do not need people scattered around doing what they please when deadlines are involved.
· IT Skills: Ability to use Discord and Google Documents without issues as these are the easiest form of communications and reporting issues.
· Patience: You will have a lot of trial and error and can consume a lot of time. We also work closely with players and staff so patience is the key to sorting any problems that may occur or questions they may have.
· Discretion: As a staff member, you would be given a lot of unreleased content/information and possibly sensitive; through social media or any other sources. You must respect and follow these rules.
· Self Motivation: There are a few rewards for being a staff member besides the satisfaction of the task well done and a coloured name/prefix. You will need to check the documents and development server regularly, save the documents we give you.
· Team Player: You will also need to be able to work well in a group with your fellow team members, whether they are developers, moderators or administrators, sometimes even players.
