Looking for a server partner
Greetings,
My name is Derek (Dr_Derek in game) and I have been playing Minecraft on and off for the last six years. During this time, I've had the privilege to have many different experiences, including meeting many different people, and owning and running several servers that enjoyed some modest success, but ultimately have since gone due to lack of interest/funding/etc.
After a noteable hiatus, I'm back to playing Minecraft again. For the last several months, I've debated starting up another server. Finally, I've decided that I am going to open a server - Democraftcy. I'm very keen into politics, economics, etc. and have run a successful server with political elements (i.e. nations) and want to try something unique. Democraftcy will be a server with - well - democracy. It will be up to the playerbase to choose the direction of the server in the form of weekly "referendums" whereby players can make proposals for the server and the players will vote on them. Also, the players will, on a monthly basis, elect a "server president" who will oversee the operations of the server (under the guidance and discretion of the owners) and will adhere to the player's demands. This could go horribly wrong, or it could have an amazing outcome. The exciting part is that it's fresh, it's unique, and we don't know what will happen.
I am quite skilled when it comes to "server stuff", being able to configure the server, design the website, code plugins, build, etc. However, I am not the solitary type and like to run communities alongside a balanced partner who will contribute to the project and keep things in check.
So, I am looking for a person who is around 14-20 (I'm 16) who has had a fair amount of experiencing running a server and managing a community, who would be interested in taking on the role of "co-owner", and helping to bring Democraftcy to life. I want someone who can balance out some of the more extreme elements of me (sometimes my goals/ambition are more than I can take on, sometimes I get rude and bitter to players, and I neglect certain parts that are important to look after), and can help materialize a strong-knitted community. This person should be someone who is temperamental, mature, wise, and compatible with my personality (as in, after we talk, I like you - I don't want to work with someone I can't stand). He/she should be willing to commit to this project, not have a lot of other stuff on their plate (i.e. other servers), and should have some skills/abilities that will be useful to the server. This person should have an interest in politics and whatnot like I do so he/she will understand the premise of the server.
Just a bit of a disclaimer, I can become controlling and demanding. Try not to take crap from me, but understand that I am a dominating figure and intend to sort of take the "steering wheel" on this project.
So, if you seem to fit the parameters I specified above, and are interested in helping to bring this project to life (in a relatively quick timeframe), then I would love to have a conversation with you (through Skype, Discord, text, whatever). This could be something really special and it's a really great opportunity for certain types of people.

After reading through,I can see that you are like me,I love making servers,however,they never get popular,as I get less motivated by time and eventually give up.
I think that if you are like me,I can be a good partner that can give you my full commitment,by being there when you are improving the server.
