Looking for Server Please Read Description
Hey everyone I've been looking for awhile and I'm looking for a good server. Not just any server but in my eyes the perfect server. I know this sounds a little farfetched but please continue to Read.
Now for the perfect server in my eyes there are some plugins need. First of all the faction plugin. This is a basic plugin that almost everyone loves whether it's a building or PvP server. What I'm looking for right now is a PvP server though. Another must have is the heroes plugin. This adds alot of fun to the PvP experience with classes such as Warrior,Cleric,Mage, and Ranger each with their own specialized skills. As you PvP and fight monsters you Level up and gain more access to Skills. There are many servers that also have their own specialized classes. I like to avoid servers that give too much benefits with these classes from donators. Like sometimes people donate when they first join and within a week they're a God of the server. Now for someone like me who barely had enough money to buy the minecraft game itself thats just no fun.
Another good plugin to have is mcmmo. This also enhances the PvP experience with Powerful attacks and boosted skills with swords and archery.
Now if you have both Mcmmo and the Heroes Plugin then a recommended thing would be to have the mob arena. This is a good place to make friends and teams as well as train your hero and mcmmo skills.
A optional plugin to have for servers are the survival games. These are fun and add a new spin to PvP in a scavenge to survive all-out death match. Whats fun about these is that they're completely unpredictable. The best player on the server can be defeated easily if you use the right tactics.
Those are the main PvP plugins I think are good for a server.
Here are some other plugins that I think should be a must have.
First of all would be iconomy along with shops. These provide a way for players to get hard to obtain items more easily as well as help give some extra things to do to avoid boredom. Because we all know what happens when people get bored on PvP servers
A good thing to add to iconomy is the jobs plugin. These give players ways to make money such as woodcutting,mining,fishing, and even brewing. They give you money for just doing the jobs and then later you can use/sell the materials you get as you please.
Another thing that people like are multi-worlds. These are ok to have and attract quite a few more members. Mainly this is used to add a free-build creative world where people can claim plots to build creative in. Of course they can't transfer items between creative and the faction world though.
This last thing is a feature and not a plugin. A world where the area around the spawn isn't majorly blown up or messed up. I mean really that is plain ugly and it just agitates me to see that.

you should come check out our server. we aspire to be that perfect server. keep in mind we are fairly new and still need to build a user base. but we have some good admins who have been working very diligently and from the sounds of what your looking for. it might be just what you want.
