So for a while I have had an idea in my head. Like all ideas I made the mistake of giving it attention and now it's grown so big that I can't stop thinking about it. I need to do something about it before it takes up all my head space and I end up having to have a Doctor perform an emergency Idea-ectomy to relieve the pressure.
Anyways, the Idea spawned because I love to roleplay but haven't done so since I quit playing wow almost three years ago. I recently learned I shouldn't be ashamed in my interests and began to think about how I could go about doing this. I don't have any friends who roleplay, and I haven't seen any clubs on campus who do, so my brain began to work on creating it's on RP scenario that it decided would be perfect for minecraft.
The catch is that I have no idea how a server works. I have the story, creativity, and excitement to run a roleplaying server, but none of the technical know how. I guess that what I am looking for is a partner; someone who could help me make this dream a reality. I'm looking for someone who is friendly, and willing to help out with starting a server as well as possibly teaching me how to it as well.
I cant say I am looking for someone in particular, just someone who knows what they are doing, and is nice. So those are your requirements. Know-how and niceness. I hope to hear from people soon because this idea is getting so big that I had to buy a journal and make story notes.

You sound very enthusiastic about this big idea of yours. My friend and myself are in the process of building a RP server. We are definitely looking for help with just about everything. We really need help with putting finishing touches on cities and what not.
We also really need help with quest ideas. We are just about at the point to start laying out quests where we want them. We need someone like yourself with big ideas to help with this. We are talking epic stuff. Like taking a ride on a dragon to a mystical fortress in a secluded mountain island.
