I can tell you how to port forward if you are using a mac?

Use Hamchi if it's just for your friends, However if you you want a big 24/7 server i'd port forward. If you are unsure how to download hamchi look it up on youtube

dont bother making a server, if you dont do how to open the ports of your internet router. It is a big task setting up a server, and me, a 16 yr old moder finds it hard to fully set up a server I wouldn't try. There is already heaps of great servers out there, BUT if you do make one, make it different from other servers. Also hosting a server with a server host is better, if you port forward, you would have to leave your computer on 27/7 for your server to be online.

To add more slots, simply go into the bukkit config file, and set the 'maxslots= X' X being your number.
