The year is 2054. After a heated nuclear exchange, the once great powers across the world have succumbed to a nuclear winter fueled by greed, corruption and hatred. Sixty percent of the global population was wiped out from the initial exchange, and most remaining were killed by the fallout on the irradiated surface of the planet. The few survivors sought refuge in the last bastion of hope humanity had left: Underground.
Features:
Venturing to the surface (Y level of 112 or more) will poison and damage you every 10 seconds. To avoid radiation poisoning, wear armor. They will be damaged but you will not take damage.
Custom modified terrain.
Contaminated water will wither and poison you.
The underground (and surface) is filled with custom naturally occuring structures. Beware that some structures are trapped or challenges, so be very careful when exploring every structure!
Mobs have been modified and there are much more powerful mobs, along with over 50 different types of zombies!
/register password password - what do I do?
Do as it says, register with a password then repeat the password, example: /register kitty kitty
From then, you'll have to log in with /login <password you set> when ever you join the server, example: /login kitty
While the server is in beta, we are making it offline mode to get more players, and therefore more opinions.

It sounds fun, but when I got there, nothing worked. No kit, no compass when clicking sign. No pickaxe when clicking sign (said I didn't have enough permissions).
