Minecraft in general.

So, I was kind of bored today. I updated my server on here and I realized, what has minecraft in general come to? Before I knew about planet minecraft my server was filled with friendly people. Friendly people who made my server popular by word of mouth. Now, my server isn't hot cheese or anything like that, but it certainly is doing fine for a small newish server. But once I put my server up on this website, my old friendly community is being filled with "rate suckers" as the guy from the allstate commercial would say. All they do to my server is take and take. They join, ask if they can apply for a rank, go around the server, and they use their little hacked clients all over my genuine players. All the legit work my players had to do, wasted because someone who has hacks beat them. I do have an anti-cheat plugin. But the clients today have become way to "op" for any plugin to disable them. I just don't understand what minecraft as a whole has come to. To be honest, I know its not all the players. I respect the real good kind souls that play legit. Its just getting your server out there is a hard enough task alone. But dealing with all the crap that comes with the players is astounding. You know, when I update my server on this website, I get multiple people. Maybe 10 or 20. Out of those people, there is maybe one person who sticks around and play the server regularly. The rest just pretend to like the server for the day, just to get special perks, or a rank. This is bologna! O.K. so what I would like you guys to do in this thread is just post some info for the people out that want people to stick around and create a good environment for ALL players.
