I was thinking today about how I could make a cool new server gamemode, and I thought and thought, until finally it hit me: Gangs!
You can form a Gang when you get enough playtime,Xp, etc....
It will be basically like a real gang!

Why not just use factions or something?

Because factions is gay. I want something BRAND NEW to make a traffic flow to my server. It needs to be a custom plugin, that people will enjoy. I have a complete plan already drawn up that can be used, and factions/essentials/etc.. doesn't provide nearly enough of what I need.

Yea, i may have to :/ I will pot my plan so you all can get an idea of what I am actually trying to accomplish here. This could be the NEXT BIG THING! Any Dev's please come forward as you could make a part in MC History! Also I would make you Co-Owner of my server
Anyway, Here is the plan:
-Create a gang when you get a certain amount of playtime
-Use Economy to get money, so you can buy Drugs and Guns
-Custom Server Texture Pack so there can be Drugs and Guns
-Can claim gang territory by placing down "Tag" blocks. It will basically work like the land claiming on the Factions plugin, where you can get more territory with the more power you have
-Can kill other gang members
-Members of a gang get a notification in chat when a rival gang member enters their "Turf"
-When a player gets killed, they are automatically kicked from the server. When they are kicked, ALL details of them are WIPED. This means their money, nickname, gang status, playtime, etc.. will ALL be reset, like as if they actually died and re-spawned. This will make people actually care more about dying.
- Play time tracker (Eg: Records the amount of playtime a player has, as they will need this to rank up and create gangs.)
- Can donate to the server for Money, Guns and Drugs.
-Drugs can be sold to other players for a certain amount of in game money. The drugs will be Weed, Cocain, and pills. They will all have effects.
-Custom Map built by owner/staff (Will resemble a city, like L.A)
-There will be police, chosen by owner. the police will patrol the area, and can arrest anyone by hitting them with "Handcuffs". these will be a re-textures item, but how they work will need to be coded. When a player is arrested they lose 1/4 of their money, and all their items. They must spend 10 minutes inside "Jail" before they are teleported to spawn.
-If a player leaves a gang, they are "Marked for Death" the name above their head appears red to their previous gang mates
-Add colour coding to peoples names above their heads. Red = Kill them, Green = Friendly Yellow = Neutral, Blue = Police. If their name is red, it means they have either 1) Left the gang, and are now marked for death 2) Betrayed the gang (The leader can mark betrayers with a command. Marking them as betrayer means they are auto-kicked from their gang) 3) A rival gang member. Green means they are from the same gang as the player who is viewing them, Yellow means that the player is neutral, e.g.: not in a gang, nor a snitch. Blue means they are a Police officer, and the gang members will be auto-jailed for life for killing an officer. (this means they may as well quit the server, as they can never get out without the owner letting them out) (The owner will be "President" and can do anything.)
-The colours will be relative to the player viewing the names. e.g.: somebody from a gang won't see a rival gang member as green, they will see them as red.
-Players in a gang have the ability to set a nick name. Eg: If a player goes /setnick Wicked, chat will say [GangName] "Wicked" : (Message)
- The chat format will look like this (The permissions will be done in group manager):
[Gang Name] PlayerName: (Message) Example: [Bloods] Wicked: Hello Everyone.
- Police chat will look like this: [Police] Officer (Officer name) : Message. Example:
[Police] Officer xXAlphaXx : Hello Everyone. The police prefix will be Lightish blue, and all gang prefixes will be Bright Red

First off gangs are like factions.Second this idea isn't brand new it's called factions,and the whole idea with gangs and drugs are already made which is almost exactly like this.Research before you think you have a brand new idea.

Calm your tits. I only wanted this specific plugin made. I didn't ask for everyone's opinion on existing plugins. And yes, it is similar to Factions, but in my Plan it is VERY different. It is like an entire server in 1 plugin.

I did research, and none of the few things already made bear no resembelance to what I want. Now if there are any Dev's who can contribute to this, please do.

Don't expect any good dev to work for free, trust me on that. There is no such thing as a free lunch, and if there is free lunch, it taste horrible. Free lunch situations only occur on the forums, where there are builders who are willing to work for free, they build horribly. It is EXTREMELY rare for a person skilled in his field to work for free. And also, if you want your server to become successful, you will have to pool in more valuable resources, like money and time. There may be a phrase called "Make more with less", but there is no phrase called "Make more with nothing"
This plugin will probably cost you at least 500$ looking at the size. Goodluck!
