Interesting concept for Minecraft Server Idea looking for interest/suggestions
I am making a modded minecraft server and I was just to see if there was any interest in the server before I fully commit to making it.
I recently made a America map which you can view here here.
I want to make a minecraft server where when first joining the server you pick out a starting nation to support. This will determine your starter kit and location.
After you pick a starting nation to support you will be responsible for setting up a settlement or you can join another players settlement.
Once you establish your settlement you have two options you can either support your starting nation or declare independence.
As a member of one of the starting nations you will be responsible for maintaining a settlement, paying tax to your ruling country, working on "national projects" and defending your own border. In return you will receive weapons to arm your soldiers and material to help build your nation.
Every nation will have different strengths and ability to provide material.
If you choose independence you have to produce your own weapons and convince other players to support your faction.
I plan on having a really small community on this server. It will kind of be a role play geo pol server.
The server will include colonial era technology such as muskets and ships like galleons. I also plan on using the villager recruits mod and the villager worker mod to provide a way for automation and large scale conflict with a limited amount of players.
Each starting nation will have a small starting city where players will spawn.
This is not based on a specific year in history so of course it won't be totally historically accurate.
