Minecraft Server Poll

Greetings fellow PMCers! I've been hard at work on a new server, and need some input. I'll be releasing the spawn map soon, and I think you'll all really love it, with built in shops and all, but never mind that. I am here to publicly ask (players and admins) what type of server do you find most successful (i.e.: survival, pvp, etc), and what do you see in these servers that makes them 'special'?

Sincerely,
Build_and_Break
