Hi guys,
The names Michael *tips hat* I own MineCraftier.net an active MineCraft server of over 20,000 players with about 1200 people signing in a day. I've been respectfully placed #37 on a top server list site and have invested nearly a grand in Advertising this year. I own 1 dedicated server and 4 VPS servers. During peak hours I usually mantain 40-50 people constantly on the server.
My main point isn't to brag but to show I am dedicated to running a community. I've got such a big community, well financed and dedicated to pull through with this new project as a director and now it is the most IDEAL time to take advantage of being popular and in the position where I am at the moment by putting together a MineCraft Radio Internet Stream which will be 24/7 scheduled for normal music, podcasts in the MineCraft community like the shaft, yogscast, MineCraft songs fan made and eventually interviews.
I've already registered the domain MineCraftRadio.com which I will be build the website tonight. I've got skills in IT from Networking to Programming but the skills I lack is in the audio business. I am looking for a RELIABLE, mature and dedicated team of people to donate some of their time into:
- Helping reach out to YouTube starts to get their support for our station
- Designing / Graphics
- Audio Editing
- Sound production
- Vocal voice overs
- People who have had any competency experience working with audio[/list]
What I'm NOT looking for
Time wasters
- People who are power hungry (this is to mostly people of MineCraftier.net who only want to help so they can get OP)
- Persons under the age of 16
I'm looking for people around the age of 17-30 to do a podcast with me. Prefer 17-30 because I need older people who have matured vocal coords.
If you are interested or just want to ask questions reply below with any questions or applications of your basic details such as first name, sex, age, country and the relevant experience.

Hi i am Grim Owner of grim craft can u help me with my server
No offense but I am not rendering my services out to other servers. It is tough looking after all of my servers let alone other people. In addition I value my skills in IT and my experience in previous jobs of managing a team. It's what makes me good at what I do. I have a lot to offer and I would expect a return of some sort either financially or something equivalent that would make it worth while.

Lol I hope everything goes to plan for you! There might not be many apps at the moment as americans are asleep so yeh. I can't really do much to help you, my expertise only goes into certain areas which doesn't include audio edit and nonetheless I don't meet the age requirement by 1 year. Anyways for question, shouldn't there be a director or like someone who manages what is being broadcasted?

The age requirement is to mainly keep immature teenagers & kids out, obviously that doesn't stop the them from applying. Recently my server has been filled 24/7 with 8-15 year olds who are always wanting something for nothing, lack life experience and that sort of thing. I know some pretty mature and decent young teenagers but it's quicker for me to rule them out. If you think you have what it takes I don't mind you applying.
Back to your original question. There will be scheduling like you would find on a proper broadcast and we have a system in pace that I can stream from my home computer OR I can automated it with the files on my server, so basically have a stash of MP3 files on a remote server and I can setup playlists based on tags and the time of day. Really powerful system we have in place. Of course once I get some personal audio equipment setup at home I will be doing live streaming through VirtualDJ and other sound production software and others.
I'm planning to donate a time slots to popular YouTube / respected people in the MC community (probably wont happen until we're big and they see themselves getting hits through our service) and other YouTube / communities who pay a fee for a slot. They can choose to air during their times OR else the system will automatically continue the playlist.
For instance if something came up and I was due to stream my show from my computer and I couldn't the stream would resume to a default playlist as a backup.
I actually have the stream running at the moment testing and so far it has exceeded all expectations. I've got 2 podcasts running twice a day at 12am and 5pm every day. It all works, it's ready to go I just need to knuckle down and get the site done. Been building websites for 10 years ever since I was 10 so it'll only take me a few days to get it completed.
Let me know if you can offer your skills to the team. Even if I've left something out on my list, let me know.
