A better server than you may think!!!

Rumors are true we are about to increase the RAM on the server. Stay tuned for details!

We are attempting to do something a bit different from minecraft servers that I have seen. We have created the base for a player run economy along with a system for claiming land an owning parts of the server.

Though many servers have done things like this, we are doing it in a hardcore environment.

To us hardcore means this:
+ PVP is active EVERY where but spawn, even in "The City of Destruction" (TCD) the admins city.
+ The game mode is set to Hardcore Mode, mobs hit harder and faster.
+ You start with no money (a simple starter kit is available)
+ Money only comes into the economy from admins when gold or lapis is exchanged or when people vote to promote the server.
+ We use a key set of small fees to use our protection system and group spawn commands (factions plugin).
+ Having your things protected does not equal complete safety either.
- If one does not build a proper defense others can TNT or creeper bomb their location and get in.
- Allies on our server may not be able to kill each other but they can build and break blocks on your land when you're online. Choose Allies Wisely.

Not only are we creating two new custom plugins for RPG and Empire building but we currently have a plugin made to automate the process of gaining player perks and enhancements. A word to the wise, we are professionally run with great administration. We use MC Bans so unless you want a really bad MC Record force update your client before playing here with hacks or unapproved mods.

We added a bunch of new custom commands for fun. Like now if you are a shepherd (player staff) you can spawn 3 sheep every 3 hours, and they follow you!! Good times...

Guess what to everyone following Monolith. There has been a map reset. There has been no better time to recruit into MONOLITH, then to join now. The price of creating factions has gone down, the price of everything has gone down. It's the best chance to get into the game. I recommend you join NOW!
