GGservers sucks. We finally finished our last month with them for the SMP server I'm on and people actually go on now because GG made the server so slow, that you could spend an hour trying to break one block, and once it was broken it would come back. HostHorde is nice and reliable.

GGservers is great! Its cheap and nice to start a server. The only problem is that it lags a fair amount for some (but not all) people. Over all, its good to start out with but you should probably switch once you get some people.

I would go with minerack but then the host locations are far away (on the other side of the usa)

ExodusHosting is a pretty good one. They've got all their hardware in Dallas, 10 Gbps of free DDoS mitigation, a free mySQL database, no bandwidth caps, and really nice CPUs. Support is great, they usually get back to you within the hour. They compensate you for downtime and the price is really cheap for what they offer. At $8 a GB, they're the cheapest host that delivers the most that I've found.

Do NOT use MCProHosting. When we used that it went down ALL THE TIME and it took them 1-3 days to respond to help requests.

We use Beastnode now and it can handle our heavily modded server very well with no lag at all even when a bunch of people are flying around long distances on mobs. So whatever kind of server you're looking to make, I'd recommend them.

No I use it. It's great for hosting. It took me ages to find it though.
