I need help making my server

Hey guys,
I need help making my server I bought a server and I want to have minigames in it but I'm not sure how to do that because I tried with the survival games plugin and everyone in the main lobby was joined aswell, how do I fix this its annoying me. Do I need ant other plugin or another server or what please help
