NEED HELP WITH SPAWN

Hello, and thank you for checking out this post. I have created a server named "Meloncraft" and need tips on building spawn. What are some good first impressions? I'm not an amazing builder, so any tips on building? If you would like to apply for builder, then post a picture of your building, your username, and anything else you would like to add. My server ip is - 108.170.8.146:33935 - It is 24/7, so don't worry about it being off. Please I need tips and builders. I'm planning on making this server big, and I am willing to put the money into it. Thanks, and have a great day!
