Need a server!

Hi everyone, I need a survival server for my friend and I. I need it so that it can only be my friend and I to join the server. I also need a creative server to because he is new on minecraft and I want to teach him stuff. Can someone make the servers or teach me how to make it? I have hamachi but every time I make one it always say something like bind the ports or something like that.
