Recently i purchased a 2gb 24 slot Minecraft server, i have past experience in running small minecraft servers, however i want to do things differently this time. I want to hear what the people want from a minecraft server, theme wise. Here are some ideas i had, but i would appreciate if others shared their opinion on this topic.
Wasteland Factions; Essentially factions, however the map is low on resources, its a wasteland. Acquiring materials would be difficult, meaning there would be a black market and economy. I may or may not use guns for this theme, in my opinion guns really are over powered and take the skill out of the game.
Fantasy RP with factions; A medieval fantasy themed server, where players can choose a race and a character roleset. Factions (Kingdoms) can be set up by players, allowing for realistic castle besieging scenarios between kingdoms.
A Bending Server; This is the type of theme that my previous server was, it consisted of 4 elements that the player could utilize. Such as Water, earth, fire, air. The only issue with this type of server, is that it was a very heavy plugin, removing the combat of Swords and bows, due to the power of bending.
