This is nirvanaminecraft. We are a close-knit, small community with a dedicated server and a website, and were looking to expand a little bit.
The purpose of the server is to create an experience reminiscent of SSP in terms of limits and ability to freely build wherever and whatever you want. We also believe admins should have as much power as the players, so no items are spawned in, and everything is built from resources obtained in-game. No commands are used, creative is used only extremely rarely to moderate and watch players, and admins survive and play the game as much as regular players.
We incorporate no plugins into our server, as we believe minecraft is best enjoyed without a thick layer of plugins that change the experience of the game. We don't even have protection plugins, as we have always relied on maturity and trust of the members of our community. So far, over the three months the server has existed, that has worked very well for the most part. Discipline is very rarely necessary and our staff team keeps everything running smoothly.
The community feeling of this server is also extremely strong. We have a functioning economy, shopping districts, community games (death games, abba caving), and community projects (spawn city, quarry, operation destroy the end). If you're quiet however, you can still enjoy the server. We don't force anybody to do anything, and all players are welcome to contribute or not contribute however much they want.

Basic rules :
1. No taking items without permission.
2. No destroying anyone's structures .
3. No building in or around anyone's properties.
4. No building obscene structures.
5. No X-Ray tools of any kind.
6. No hacked clients for any reason whatsoever. *
7. No answering the last question on the application.
8. No "trolling" of any kind.
9. No random unsolicited PvP.
10. No trespassing (If there is a sign).
Applying :
In order to maintain a great atmosphere with mature players that don't cause trouble, we only accept players who put sufficient thought into their application forms. Be sure to read the rules as well.

I've been a part of another mature vanilla server for the past year and a half but the lack of activity on the server has made me look for a new active server. there is no fun in playing minecraft alone on a multiplayer server, might as well play singleplayer then. But i enjoy playing minecraft with other players and that is the biggest reason i want to join your server.
