Oatmeal [Group Projects] [Download Your Creations]

Hello! Ok, We've just updated the page here, we will now run only one, or two, server wide group projects. Also, you can't really download the creations yet, you make them into a schematic and we e-mail them to you. But you can't very will fit that many words into a subject line!

---For those of you that are saying "WTF is Oatmeal?"

Oatmeal is a server with the main world, DomeCity (it's a giant showcase really) which people can add "spheres" to, containing houses, or being art (Holy Hand Grenade sphere anyone?) We run a survival world, and a nether for it. We will also run a project world, where proven members may use worldedit, and everyone else may spawn items. An interesting thing to note, is that we will allow people to use the worldedit schematic command. Ever build something awesome and want to have it on your world as well? Just use the schematic command, name your project, and request that the ADMINS e-mail the file to you! Only accepted members will be able to build on these worlds, although non-members may come and take a tour.

---Somewhat trivial information about us!

We used to be known as "DomeCity", but it wasn't a very good name. After some debate when our host, Webforest, went out of business, we decided to remake and rename the server. At an informal vote, "Oatmeal" was jokingly suggested, and nothing else was put forth. Hence, we are now called Oatmeal (not much of an improvement is it? ). We used to run a creative world with item spawning, which we have decided to remove. We also used to run a large, underwater city called "DomeCity" which will still be the main world, as well as the multiverse hub. A survival world and its nether were also run, and will continue to exist, although we may update to 1.8 maps rather than keep the 1.7 maps. Anyone who was still active on DomeCity when Webforest closed will made a mod or an ADMIN for Oatmeal when it goes up.

---Current member information! (8/25 members)

We are looking for members, and are accepting applications. We will max out at 25 slots for now, and 8 are already filled by mods and ADMINS. We will tell you if you are a member when we get our hosting back.

---Current project information!

We will probably have two projects going at the same time, but currently, we are building a 300x300 town. Everything is very detailed, and we plan to add puzzles to it afterward and release it as a puzzle map.
