So I got inspiration for this by reading something about open-source hardware in a magazine. So I thought let's make a open-source minecraft server. Everyone can give ideas and we discuss how the server will be. I got a Skype group to discuss things about the server. add me : frilex.salmon

So basically everyone is owner. But for this project to succeed I need some mature people. And not a 12 year old power hungry kid that just wants to grief a server. By participating in this project you get OP on the server which will allow you to play with the server.

But there are some rules, don't ban random people. (That's my job) Don't stop the server without my permission ,etc.

I'm looking for all kinds of people,

Builders, redstoners, developers, idea masters, command blockersetc.

looking for storywriters too

I already began gathering people in the Skype group.

So do you wanna be part of something awesome? Add me on skype!

Server ip: 37.187.25.7:26128

P.S

Don't just join the server for OP add me on skype first and we'll talk further.

See ya!

EDIT:
I didn't know Skype had a web version

Nice idea, but it's like communism. It's a really good idea that can sole a lot of issues but human nature will always get in the way. Giving that power to everyone will result in chaos.

I agree, I was a bit insecure about the idea, so I just dropped it.

I'm all for open-source (I use the LinuxLibre kernel with Trisquel Linux), but what do you mean by open-source within a Minecraft server? This seems very interesting, but I'm a little confused.
