Opening a server...?
Ok I just want to know this. Is it to safe to let people know my server? For the most part it is but I know open ports are big holes for hackers to do whatever with your computer. That's the only thing i'm afraid of. If you own a server, Do you run it from your home computer? I'm just wondering if the minecraft community has people that intend to do bad things.

Hi I would recommend paying a company to host the server for you. When you have a company host for you you get faster internet speeds, better hardware, less lag, its up 24/7, you don't have to keep your computer running, ect...
