I have a server that I set up around 3 days ago. I'm not a newbie at server owning, I've done it before. Everyday since I set the server up 1-2 people have come on and forceoped, griefed, then banned the staff and /stopped.
Permissions Ex is set to ignore op
Default op level is set to 1
Only me and the co-owner are opped
Opped users can still do anything they want
I have no idea why this is happening or how to fix it and it's stressing me out so much.
I don't understand how people are getting the * permission, and always being opped. I also don't understand why being opped does anything even though PEX is set to ignore it.

TIP: You could delete PermissionsEX & re-install it or - delete all the (*) in permissions and essentials.back.*
Deleted all the * (except me and the other owner) hope it works
I recommend you should DEOP the whole server and then restart/reload, if this doesn't work, by the way you can check players permissions by /pex group {GROUP} (I believe this is how you do it), if someone set a group's permissions and added their permissions to be * please remove it. For further help reply to this message
