Hey could make a custom plugin for my rpg server. It would contain custom mobs such as a ghost (invisible zombie with a diamond sword) and much more things like that. And I would like to be able to configure them to spawners so they can come from spawners in a dugeon. If you are interested msg me your reply if you are not can you still msg me your reply.

yeah basically, based on xml data from an external ftp server.

- you may need to know how the xml files are currently formatted by the website. Also to match the player name to the xml file you would have to chop off the first 11 characters of the xml filename, as the first half of the file name is jibberish (required by the website).
Would be good if you had a config to define what xml status number = which group.
(i.e...
0 = default
1 = builder
2 = builderplus
...and so on)

Would it be possible to create a plugin which basically checks player data (user name and status of an application) from an xml file on an external webserver at set intervals,- and then run some commands to change a users group through the PermissionsBukkit plugin automatically if their app is accepted?
I know kinda how this would work as im good with php, but im no good with java.

Or maybe so every time a user joins it checks an external ftp location for an xml file matching the players name, if it exists look inside the xml file to see the <status></status> and then run the PermissionsBukkit commands automatically to change their group based on the "status" in the xml file.
Thus meaning all group management and accepting applications etc can be done automatically through the website management system as I originally intended it to do.
I would imagine the tricky bit would be parsing the xml, other than that the theory is simple, i just dont know any java!
