Assuming you and your friends are using non-premium accounts, it is likely you haven't changed the server to 'offline mode'

you'll also need to be linked by hamachi
if you're using premium accounts, then you're in the wrong forum anyway

It means your internet connection isn't strong enough to host or your firewall is blocking their incoming data.
