Recruiting! [OPEN]
Hi, so I bought a server to use for a community I would like to start! But I'm terrible at deciding things on my own ;-; I need a 'council' to back me up and help me decide things, whether it's about spawn design or adding/removing members.
I've been playing Minecraft for over a year now and I've mostly played it all. Pure vanilla, modded, minigames, roleplay, etc. So I thought I should take the next step and buy myself a server and open it to others (but in a whitelist kind of way lol). But the decisions of what kind of server I want it to be is still uncertain...
I'm still stuck choosing between either having a server with some plugins (like Mcmmo, etc) or a server that is pure vanilla (in 1.9 since it's out now!). That's why I need some help, some more opinions.

-Councilmen (18+) underaged applicants will be scrutinized more thoroughly!
-Builders (those that help with spawn design, will be given a spot in the community as well, if they want it!)
-Members (as of right now, members won't have access to the server until decisions aren't settled. But by applying for this position, you'll be guaranteed a spot in the community!)

I started playing minecraft in 2012 and i also play tekkit sometimes. I used to host my own server called ActionCrafters with around 15 to 20 people and i was still growing but then i had to shut down cause i didn't have time. I have been admin on a tekkit server called venom-craft I left because it shutdown so now i have lot's of free time and i'd be willing to put the time into this server.
What do you love about Minecraft?
I love the minecraft community. I enjoy helping and giving back to the communities I see thriving. I like building the relationship for the good of the community and for my own enjoyment. I see myself as a good member of your team. I respect my team players and staff members that are higher rank then me. I will help any new members with questions they may have. Some players are not familiar with minecraft unlike me. I can teach them how to play, how to use basic commands. I will welcome every player that joins and create a conversation with them so they see that we have a good community.
Have you been an admin/moderator on a server
before?
I would love to become council on your server as I can handle situations the right way. I do not abuse my commands by giving players things that they cannot normally get like bedrock. I am very patient and i have been admin before as I said already and i understand that it is a rank that you don't just throw away. I get the fact that it has a lot of responsibility and i'm willing to take them on and i'm willing to put in the hours that it takes for this server to grow.
I have moderated my own server as i have said above and i've been admin on venom-craft. I love helping out people that actually need help and making them enjoy their Minecraft experience.

To me it would be Plugins as I love moded minecraft especially like tekkit or feed the beast. I like to use Plugins more because it adds more options into the game and you always have more stuff to do rather then just vanilla

I can be on 5 to 7 hours from monday to thursday and then from friday to sunday i can be on for about 7 to 9 hours and more if needed.

What do you love about Minecraft? It is a wonderful game! As a developer myself, I appreciate how much time has been spent by the Mojang team coding/developing it. In addition, I also love how I can do anything I want, from building a house to going skydiving from 250 blocks in the air! The possibilities/fun things to do never end. Programming mods and plugins for Minecraft is also a quite rewarding (and enjoyable) process.
Have you been an admin/moderator on a server before? Yes I have! I've been an Admin/Builder before, and I've also owned/developed a server. I think my tech/coding knowledge can be a great help to you.

I love vanilla, but at times, I also find it inconvenient. So, I think we should install some basic plugins like Essentials, Chat plugins, etc. In my opinion, we should keep the gameplay as vanilla as possible while having some plugins to spice it up. I know Java, and how to use it to create plugins, so any custom plugins you may need, I'll create 'em! I would, of course, listen to other counsel members' opinions and discuss all the different pluses and minuses of vanilla vs modded.

Additional: Even though I've always played and enjoyed pluginned mc mostly. I'm up to try a new type and game mode of MineCraft. Especially with other people invovled, and 1.9, it's bound to be a ton of fun
